हालैका महिनाहरूमा देखेका मूर्तिहरूमध्ये मेरो ध्यान सबैभन्दा बढी खिच्नेमा बेल्फास्टका यी दुई बहिनी पनि परे जसलाई ‘अ मोनुमेन्ट टु द अन्नोन उमन ओर्कर’ अर्थात् ‘अज्ञात महिला श्रमिक स्मारक’ भनिदोरहेछ। १९९२ मा लुइज वाल्शले यो कृति बनाएकी रहिछन्। त्यो प्रयास पछाडिको विवरण पनि कम्ति रोचक रहेनछ। मूर्तिले एउटा सोचनीय कथा भनेको छ जो यी तस्वीरमा केही हदसम्म देखिन्छन् । शासक र नेताबडाका त टन्नै देखिन्छन् तर अज्ञात् वा सामान्य जनका जीवन, समस्या र उपलब्धी झल्काउने यस्ता मूर्तिहरू पनि हाम्रा सहरहरूमा (झन् धेरै) देखियुन् ।	Louise Walsh’s Monument to the Unknown Woman Worker is one of the most striking and thought-provoking statues I have come across in recent months. The sight of the statue in Belfast prompted me to learn more about this work of art. The story behind this creation is fascinating. We need more monuments like this in our cities to tell the story of average people who are not rulers or ‘someone’.
